Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is the name of a loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash single "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the title Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was received acclaim by critics. The album produced the debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. His track, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to release three singles at number 1 in less that one year in 2020.
